Santa Clara, New Mexico - Tina Grace (Anway) Leyba, 67, born July 12, 1958 in Tucson, AZ, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX. Born to Grace and Richard Anway, Tina had one son, Mark Leyba (Jasmine Sandoval); one grandson, Anjalo Leyba and two step-grandchildren, Andres and Analeyce Padilla. Tina is also survived by three sisters, Terri Jones (Wayne), Mary Maxum (Gilbert), Marsha McDaniel (Darrell) and two brothers, Tommy and Richard Anway.


Tina was known for her business, Mrs T's Catering and catered events throughout the community for so many years, including events for Freeport-McMoran, Governors of New Mexico, and multiple movie sets throughout southwestern New Mexico. Tina, our loving mother, grandmother "Nana", and friend will be remembered for her love for her grandchildren, her favorite football team the Chicago Bears, the outdoors, putting smiles on everybody's faces and her overwhelming care for others.


Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels. A Celebration of Life will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 3805 Delk Drive, Silver City, NM 88061. Pastor Wayne Jones of Dripping Springs, AZ will officiate.


Honorary Pallbearers are Anjalo Leyba, Justin Welburn, Louis Haney, Eugene Leyba, Andres Padilla, and Joshua Jones.
